EDEN VALLEY POULTRY OPPORTUNITY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team of professionals. As a Maintenance Technician you will: Ensure the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. Follow and complete a daily maintenance and repair schedule. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Keep accurate records, as required. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment. Maintain working knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Position Requirements: Valid trade certificate (e.g., Electrical, Millwright, Machinist, or Industrial Mechanic) or enrolled in an applicable program. Previous maintenance experience in a food processing environment, an asset. High level of critical and logical thinking. Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to interact and work professionally as a part of a team as well as work independently. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.
