EDEN VALLEY POULTRY OPPORTUNITY: LIVE HAUL DRIVER Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Live Haul Driver to join their dedicated team of drivers. We are a Canadian company - unique in the industry. We process and market chickens and turkeys for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island farmers. As a Live Haul Driver, you are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of live poultry from NS and PEI farms to our plant in Berwick, NS. Your commitment will ensure adherence to the highest standards of animal welfare. Your responsibilities will also include the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork related to the role. Requirements: • A valid Nova Scotia Class 1 driver’s license with air brakes. • Completion of Grade 12, preferred. • Ability to work various start times according to a collection schedule, location of birds and weather. • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holiday when required. • A proven commendable driving record. • A strong commitment to health and safety, effective troubleshooting skills, and the desire to work in a team environment. • Excellent communication skills. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset.
